Tenerife on the surface
The tiny island can show its various faces from barren, harsh volcanic parts to laurel forests. The Teide volcan rises from the middle of the island, which is the highest peak in Spain with its 3718 m altitude.

Recently we have been to Tenerife, where we discovered the lava tubes of the Teide volcan 🌋. The 21 km long Cueva del Viento ("Cave of the Wind") is one of the longest lava tube system on Earth.

Nemrég Tenerifén jártunk, ahol a Teide vulkán 🌋lávacsöveit fedeztük fel. A 21 km hosszú Cueva del Viento ("A szél barlangja") a Föld egyik leghosszabb lávacsőrendszere.

Újra itthon! Hazaértünk épségben, vége a kalandnak. Végigjártuk Amazóniát Manaustól az az Atlanti-óceánig. Szuper volt minden: a barlangok, az esőerdő, a folyók... és nem utolsó sorban a csapat. Köszönjük, hogy részesei lehettünk, köszönjük, hogy ott lehettünk!

We are back home. We discovered Amazonia from Manaus to the Atlantic Ocean. Everything was great: the caves, the rainforest, the rivers... and especially the team.
Thank you for being part of the expedition!

A Caverna das Maos (Kezek-barlangja) az egyik legizgalmasabb hely, ahol eddig jártunk. Nemcsak a bejáratok közelében, de belső részeken is rengeteg ősi barlangrajz és véset díszíti a falakat.

The Caverna das Maos (Cave of the hands) is one of the most exciting place where we have been to on this journey. The walls are decorated with cave paintings and carvings not only near the entrances, but also at the remote parts of the cave.

Az utóbbi napokban megdőlni látszik az a hitün

Az utóbbi napokban megdőlni látszik az a hitünk, hogy a barlangban nincsenek is veszélyes állatok. Lépten-nyomon van valami, ami él és mozog. Kajmánnal már többször is sikerült összefutni a föld alatt, de azért ez a másfél méteres példány mély nyomokat hagyott bennünk. Spoiler: mindenki megúszta ép bőrrel, és nem tudjuk, hogy a kajmán, vagy mi ijedtünk meg jobban.
A kígyó pedig éppen az utolsó falatokat nyelte le a bejárati szűkületben elkapott denevérből, aminek már csak az egyik szárnya lógott ki a szájából.

In the last days we came to realize the hustle and bustle of dangerous animals in the caves. We have met with caimans several times underground, but the one with 1.5 m length had a real deep impact on us. We are safe and sound and still don't know who was more scared.
The snake was having its last bites of the bat which was caught in the narowness of the entrance. Only half of its wing was out of the snake mouth.
